ranks 4 in DQCI Silver Club list
Accel Frontline climbed two notches from its ranking
last year and stood 4th in the DQCI Silver Club (2005) list of Top

LIC chooses ACCEL
again October, 2005
ACCEL won a Rate Contract for providing the hardware
infrastructure to Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) for
the sixth consecutive year. ACCEL wins back South zone as well,
in addition to East and North East Zones.
ACCEL's strategy involved maximizing its existing
relationship with LIC with regards to the opportunity, understanding

ACCEL bags SBI order September 2005
State Bank of India, Trivandrum is rolling out
its core banking solution and has chosen ACCEL as its infrastructure
partner. ACCEL is providing the bank with HP servers, HP Nodes,
D-Link switches and other peripherals like scanners, printers and
webcams. The order will be executed at over 100 locations in Kerala.

awards ACCEL with prestigious orders June 2005
ACCEL has won prestigious orders from ELCOT, the
nodal IT procurement agency for the Government of Tamil Nadu. ACCEL,
through this order, will be providing the IT infrastructure to

ACCEL lands Tata
Cummins order June 2005
Tata Cummins has decided on an Oracle E-Business
Suite for its ERP. This being a very critical system for its business,
Tata Cummins needed a rugged system to run their ERP with 100% failover.
ACCEL proposed a solution on SUN platform to take care of its requirement
of 100% failover and 100% headroom.
The server cluster is connected to a common
SUN 6130 Storage. A tape Library is also suggested for storage
of data. Accel is also providing the customer with Sun Spectrum
Gold support.

ACCEL attains CMMI
Level 5 March, 2005
Accel Frontline Ltd announced that it has been

Integration (CMMI) Version 1.1-staged representation SCAMPI Class

ACCEL to
set up Linux Competency Centers March 26, 2004
ACCEL is setting up two Linux Competency
centers to be situated in Chennai and Delhi and is in the
process of creating a global Linux professional team.
The state-of-the-art Linux Competency Centers
will enable ISVs to simulate client environments and critically
analyze the solution offered, in terms of ease and performance
prior to buying the product.
The competency centers will offer Proof-of-Concept
and development environment, hands-on demos, product benchmarking,
Linux and open-source consultancy and implementation services,
beta testing, Linux and open-source software support services.
Each Linux Competency Center will be equipped
with Sun's x86 range servers. These servers will have the
various applications, like Sendmail, Qmail, Samba, Oracle,
MySQL, Apache, Squid and others running in a clustered environment,
so that a company may test and analyze the technology before
investing in the same.
ACCEL plans to be ahead in capturing the
wave of Linux adoption in the country. The prime focus of

Chennai-based ACCEL Systems and Services
Limited today announced a joint venture with Frontline Technologies
Corporation Ltd ("Frontline") - a leading IT services
organization listed in Singapore Exchange Main Board. Frontline
has operations in five countries and ten cities, namely, Singapore,
Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and China.
As part of the agreement signed in Singapore
yesterday, Frontline will invest US $ 7.6 million. Out of
this, US $ 4.4 million will be injected into ACCEL to expand
its IT and Business Process Outsourcing businesses and to
increase its working capital. The remaining US $ 3.2 million
will be used to purchase shares from the prior investors and
for the retirement of some loans.
This Joint Venture will leverage the pool
of technical talents to expand ACCEL 's IT Outsourcing and
Software Development opportunities to countries in the Asia
Pacific. ACCEL will also harness the award-winning e-Government
solutions and IT Security solutions from Frontline for customers
in India.

The Enterprise Software Solutions Division
of Accel Systems & Services Limited has been successfully
assessed at CMM Level 3 on 27th December 2003. This Division,
engaged in Software Development Projects and JD Edwards ERP
Implementation, has shown a high degree of maturity in following
CMM Level 3 practices.

and Repair Services to MSI and BenQ across its 28 centers Chennai, September 22, 2003
Accel Frontline Systems & Services Ltd,
a leading provider of total IT solutions, announced that its
recent foray into BPO has met with success and the company
is now appointed as Authorized Service Provider for two leading
international IT companies - MSI, a Taiwan based manufacturer
of graphic cards and mother boards and BenQ India, an industry
leader in digital life devices, spanning display, storage,
imaging, wireless and broadband areas.
According to the agreement with MSI, Accel
Frontline will undertake the replacement or repair of its
graphic cards, motherboards and optical drives.

order from Life Insurance Corporation of India, worth approximately
Rs 20 crore, for supply of servers, desktops and notebooks.
The order spans LIC's East and West Zone, including its Central
Office. This order is in furtherance to LIC's migration from
SCO Unix to Linux platform, a Rs 30 crore project that was
entrusted to Accel Frontline in the year 2002 -2003 for the
same zones.

Accel Frontline Systems and Services Ltd,

completed the implementation of the mission critical Message
Exchange Server at the Directorate of Central Excise &
Customs, spread across 23 locations in the country. This project
was awarded to Accel Frontline amidst stiff competition from
Wipro and CMC. The order value is Rs 4.75 crore.
The Message Exchange Server (MES) is being
utilized for secure exchange of information with external
agencies such as Banks, Custodians (AAI, Ports, etc) for online
processing of Customs Declarations and handling of messages
across all 23 locations in the country. The complex project
involves implementation of Sun Servers in cluster mode to
ensure high availability environment and Nortel firewalls
for protecting all locations from unauthorized access.
