Job Description

• Production Support – Level 2 & 3, UNIX Solaris solution / design / implementation experience
• Infrastructure planning, design, integration, performance, & capacity management skills
• Willing to help team members and work in Remote Infrastructure support group.
• Windows server troubleshooting
• Handling tickets assigned in predefined time
• OS upgrades and installations
• Should be able to use remote connectivity tools to manager remote servers
• Should be able to document process and procedures
• Knowledge of cluster environment
• Mange users, password, authentication, roles and profiles
• Deployment and configuration of windows based systems using a predetermined installation methodology. (Customization as per client requirements)
• Active tracking and handling of tasks related to patch/Service-pack management
• Interface with Hardware Vendor for technical support.
• Handle tasks related to Application software deployment, patching and maintenance
• Handle tasks related to Backup and Recovery of Operating system
• Call logging and tracking for completion
• Handle OS installation, Upgrade tasks
• Handle tasks related to management of ADS (Active Directory services) on Windows 2000/2003 server.

Prepare and present RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports for all major outages.
